OK, this is a late birthday gift in honor of Niou Masaharu, drawn by yours truly. Yeah, it has problems, so if you want to see good art.. go, shoo and visit one of my friend's ljs/sites...

Explanation, sort of:

In RW:Tennis, Niou takes pictures of Yuuta with a Little Red Ridinghood theme as a gift/favor. (OK there is a lot more to it than just that, but...) During the picture taking, Yuuta casts various people he knows into Little Red Ridinghood. He is Little Red Ridinghood, his concerned and protective roommate Yagyuu becomes the woodcutter, and Niou eventually becomes the wolf. XD In this version, the woodcutter is less than amused and plans to rescue his roommate and explain the dangers of wolves. Fortunately, the wolf is going to be distracted by 'grandma' who has been helpfully tied up by 'Nee-chan. She's quite a girl.



Yeah for copics! (And yes this is my first time drawing Niou and Yagyuu but certainly not my last... XD )

I got mine in Japan as singles. If you'd like next time I make it back I can look for some for you. They're damn expensive though. Ko uses Neo-Pikos, which are also really nice, and expensive. lol I buy mine as singles but they sell sets. There are a few places on the web selling them, but I don't know if they ship to New Zealand. ^^;;

He's so soft and pretty and the naivety just shines through.

I'm glad I could help! *glomps back* I'm warning you now that they're quite expensive. I think Neo-Pikos are $2 a marker, Copic Ciaos are $3 and the Copics are $4 I have a lot of Ciaos and Copics and if you like, when I get back from FL I can take a piece of white paper and show you what the colors look like. The colors on some of the sites look a little off.

If you're curious, I believe I used 4 different shades of brown for Yuuta's hair (my favorite character in the cape) and his cape has 3 reds. I'm not very good at using them or shading with them yet, but I still enjoy playing with them. ^_^
