Put the following events in order as they occurred in your own life.

Buy a house
Get Pregnant
Have baby #1
Have baby #2
Have baby #3
Have baby #4
Graduate college
Graduate high school
Meet significant other
Meet who you hoped was your significant other but wasn’t
Move out of parent’s house for good
Start college
Become gainfully employed
Buy a car
Get drunk for the first time
Get a cell phone
Get divorced

1. Graduated High School

2. Start College

3. Get Drunk for the First Time - Growing up my parents often let me taste their wines. I didn't drink in high school and it wasn't until my 2nd year in college I got drunk at a party depressed over a break-up. It was also my first time getting a hangover :P

4. Meet Significant Other - I met Kennis for my first time 2nd semester of our Junior year. We talked for maybe 10 minutes. We re-met at the start of our Senior year and about 2 weeks in we were dating and the rest is history so to speak lol

5. Graduate from College

6. Buy a Car - I didn't have a car in high school (no driver's license in high school even) or college, I borrowed one of the family's when home on breaks only, but post college we moved to Houston and we NEEDED a car. We got terrifically taken advantage.

7. Become Gainfully Employed - I don't count babysitting, summer jobs since they were only a few months of the year (and didn't start until after my first year of college) or the maybe 10 hours a week I worked in Campus Dinning Service/Campus Catering. However, post college I got a real job and had to work the normal 30+ hour work weeks.

8. Get Married

9. Bought a house - We first bought a Co-op with help from my family (our Co-op was not super expensive even by non-NY standards. I think we paid like 26k for it. We sold it and then bought our house, which has now been sold as well while we rent and look for the next place.

10. Move out of Parents house for Good - I'm not counting right after college, because our first year of married life we lived with my parents while searching for a Co-op and then after we sold our Co-op we lived with my parents again for a year. It wasn't until we bought the house we moved out and will not be moving back in. (Though conceivably my parents could end up moving in with us in the future.)

11. Get a Cell Phone - We got one of these when Kennis started to commute to work via bicycle so I could more easily get in touch with him (and he me) in case of emergencies. We were also starting to think about babies though nothing happened on that front until quite a few years later.

12. Get Pregnant - Sometime at the end of January 2011 I became pregnant for my first time.

13. Have Baby #1 - October 2011 my dear sweet Adina. :D

I've never:
Have baby #2
Have baby #3
Have baby #4 (and under no circumstances would I ever have 4 kids unless somehow we decided to have a 2nd and I somehow had triplets heaven forbid.)
Meet who you hoped was your significant other but wasn’t (I dated before Kennis, but I never wanted to marry any of those people. I just wanted to date them and see what it was like being in a relationship.)
Get divorced (I'd like to think this will never happen)

News on the Cookie front. After getting a big scare on Tuesday night when she didn't come down to eat and we had to bring food to her, Cookie has been coming down to remind us she does still want food. For those curious, she won't eat her dry food anymore so she lives on a diet of canned tuna. Not cat canned tuna, but human canned tuna so that at least I can have something kosher in the house. She is eating and is definitely still interested in food. We use to just feed her around dinner time but now feed her on demand, much like the baby. (Though like the baby she sometimes has to wait a couple minutes so I can get things ready... like today I had to put the baby to nap first) I still don't think she has super long since she is very thin and not eating as much as she should, but the immediate danger seems to have passed and I'm hoping we can at least keep her going a little while longer.

I am glad Cookie is eating and looking better!

Ha, I have only done 8 things on that list, and out of the ones I haven't done, the only thing I am ever going to do is buy a house.

Mine is pretty similar than yours although I got my cell phone before I moved out, and I didn't graduate college. I also don't want any more kids.

We had a rough spot last night but I think now things are getting better again.

It's an interesting list. I guess I've had 4 kids if you count Cookie, Basil and Nutmeg before Adina. XD;

I love your changing LJ icons to express your mood, they're hilarious. :)

I suspect we are stopping at 1. Kids are $$$$$$ and a lot of work and I'm old :P

*hugs* So am I. I know things are a lot worse in Japan right now, but her health is really important to me. We had a setback last night but I think now we're back to an upswing. (We tried tuna in oil and I think we need to stick to tuna in water.)

Well, it's quite American-centric with "Getting a Car" since I can imagine in other countries that either never happening or not happening for quite some time.

Yeah, I've been really worried about her.

I admit I buy the people tuna because it is marked kosher XD;

We really love Cookie a lot. I'm not sure if I've shared how we got Cookie on LJ yet, in which case I ought to. She's been a wonderful companion to me so taking good care of her is a joy, most of the time.

LOL if you count cats then I am turning into the Octo-mom. Cats are like especially independent teenagers with no thumbs.

Me too, we had a setback but it looks like things are back on track again. We discovered don't mess with a good thing and try switching tuna on her now.

Yes, which is one reason I like them. And they never ask to borrow your car or steal your favorite clothes.. OK scratch that last one.

:) Thanks! I wish I could think of more moods to do, but oh well.

Yeah, I don't think we could afford 2 even if I wanted them...while I am young enough to have a bunch of kids I like just having one even if we could afford more. My husband would like another but he's not too gung-ho about it so I think 1 is all for us. As I discussed with my husband, I'd rather be able to "spoil" Noah than have to stretch our money between 2 kids (that's not the only reason I don't want more though).

They do, but I'd rather the clothes than the laptop!

They're so cute! :D

Yeah, I want to be able to spoil and fully enjoy Adina. But kids are expensive and a lot of work. I just feel a little sad because I am going to miss her as newborn. I can't believe she is already almost to 6 months!

How big is Noah now? We're thinking about solids soon.
