Today Adina is officially 1 month! And to celebrate...

Aww, look at all that hair! I started off blonde, and suddenly got dark when I hit the age of three, so I guess little Adina might get closer to your hair colour later.

So far she hasn't really noticed the kitty much, though Cookie licked her head a few times. :D

She has such soft and easily spiked hair. It will be interesting to see if it ever goes curly like mine.

Thank you for sharing the pictures you took at the naming. The ones FiL took were so disappointing. He managed to make me look incredibly fat and a bunch of the pictures were out of focus :/

Really? I started off with jet black hair and.. uhhh it got curly, that was a big change. :D

Kennis and his sister started off blond and went darker, so it will be interesting to see. Right now her hair has a lot of red in it. I'm wondering if she takes after my late grandfather.

Yes, I keep looking at her and it's amazing how much larger and more like a little person she looks now vs when she first came out. I need to try to get more pictures (and video) so I can capture this time since I know it will be soon over and she'll be a toddler before I know it.

And yeah her arms and legs always look long to me too, it might be because they are so thin. I call her my little monkey baby lol It's funny how light her hair is since mine has always been so dark.

Awwww ... sooo cute! And so teeny, tiny still. Can you tell what color her eyes are? I know like hair color, that can also change with a baby.

See, I think she looks like you more in the face, but has Kennis's colouring. I bet her hair darkens up some as she gets older, though it looks like she may be blessed with stick straight hair. So jealous!

I think we're all pretty happy right now and even Cookie is adjusting to everything pretty well. ♥

Things are weird here and sometimes busy. I ought to be working on more thank yous and the announcements. >>; We're also working to try to get Adina to start nursing, it should be interesting... or something. I miss talking to you and I like hearing work stories actually.

BTW for my B-day I'm just hoping to get breakfast in bed.

Her eyes are currently gray-blue, but color they are at 1 year I've no idea. My eyes were gray when I was little. Kennis has very blue eyes though and my grandparents had a variety of eye colors. My brown eyed Aunt had 5 or 6 blue eyed children our of 8!

Her hair might change color, it will be interesting to see. We have a few light haired grandparents, but my hair was always very dark.

But at least if she is naked, her clothes aren't getting covered in spit up! Just her blankets... and the couch ;;_;;

I'm glad someone sees some of me in her. I get a little sad that no one ever says she reminds them of me >>;; I bet her hair darkens too, though I do have some relatives with red/blond hair so she might take after them. My hair was straight at this age, so I am not going to make any assumptions on that. My side all has curly hair and Kennis' is all straight so it will be a battle to see what is dominant.

She does make me smile a lot! And Every so often she smiles at me now (and I know it's not just gas!) She has so many expressions and is quite active sometimes, it's amazing to think how much she has changed in just 1 month!
