I've now officially gotten my 25,000 miles for 2010, insuring that I get to keep my status for 2011. I won't be Premier Exec, but Premier is nearly as good since I still get to check baggage for free. Though it doesn't get marked "Priority." I just think realistically a 3rd trip to Japan is not happening this year since I don't see myself traveling with the baby until 2011. (Well any further than like NJ, we've been invited to an after wedding party for a wedding we could not attend in Vienna this past week end.) I also managed to get upgraded to first class on my 4 flights on my way back and forth to my brother's wedding. The first class on smaller flights is not as nice as business on PS flights, but still is nicer than economy and means fewer people fighting for each toilet. (This is a big deal when you are 7 1/2 months pregnant)

My Disney hotel was really quite nice, the room was huge, though this might just be because I tend to go to Japan which tends to have small rooms. Once we parked the car, we didn't move it until we checked out. I am not sure what the people who talked about things being far from one another were smoking or if maybe anything more than 100 feet is considered "far" or what but everything seemed so close and convenient. We easily walked to the pool though the waterslides had a no pregnant women allowed sign and of course no hot tubs past my hips. :( But the pool itself was beautiful and not so chloriney and I swam! We walked to Downtown Disney for most of our meals as it was convenient and while character meals are fun, not $60 for two fun. >>;; All the meals we ate were delicious, including the ones I puked up.

We finally made it to Toy Story 3! While I have some issues with it... like hell I am giving all my old toys away to anyone other than Ryuchan! [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank would be happy to know they finally deal with the subject that there is such a thing as playing *TOO MUCH* with your toys. Also, the Jesse and Buzz romance seemed very tacked on, unless this was Buzz making an attempt to be hetero and picking the woman most like his real true love, Woody.

I got a prenatal massage!!!!!! It was amazing and I can only hope I get to indulge in another one before the baby comes. It made my back hurt so much less and my legs! MASSAGE! And unlike the people on the baby board, the pressure was perfect for me, not too rough, but not so gentle it felt like nothing was being done.

Our other hotel had even bigger rooms than Disney and for about 1/2 the price! It also had a quite nice pool (and hot tub) and one of the best showers I've ever enjoyed in the world. However the sink vanity was very high and with my huge belly trying to brush my teeth was a royal pain. The room was noisier when I didn't have the AC on, because we were on the road side and the room did not come with a fridge. But overall, I would definitely recommend it and hey, it was literally a 5 minute drive from the airport!

I so loved getting a chance to see all my family. Even though I don't live so far from some of my relatives, we just don't see each other that much and it was a real treat to just be able to sit and chit chat. Some of my favorite times were just sitting with my family during breakfast. It was also really nice to see my in-laws when none of us were rushing anywhere or had any other responsibilities other than the wedding. It all makes me very excited for my upcoming baby events!

I discovered It's Its some sort of San Francisco treat that is yummy and delicious.

My brother is really married now! It makes me so happy to see that simple gold wedding band on both their fingers.

And finally, like the subject line says, we sort of unintentionally hung out with someone sort of semi-famous. My brother asked if some of his friends could join us for lunch on Wednesday and we happily said yes and ended up paying for lunch to be polite and nice. Unbeknownst to me until after I got home, I think the person in question was a semi-famous indie rock star (or rather his band is semi-famous) I just thought he was a nice guy with an even nicer wife and two adorable kids. (I spent a lot of time trying to convince them to take their sons to Legoland lol) So now I can feel like I had a true CA experience since I had brush with celebrity even if the person was my brother's friend... and lives in Glasgow. >>;

On the negative side, I came home to two letters from DHL saying I owe $50 in Customs. ~.~ I am of course going to fight it since it seems ridiculous to pay Customs on dresses I returned and so do not actually own.

I refused to actually listen to the Karate Kid remake on the plane since it just horrifies me. However I did watch some J.Lo vehicle because it involved pregnancy and I spent lots of time ranting at the screen for all the fallacies and stupidity in it.
