Made it!

For those curious, I made it to Japan! I only puked once on the plane and it was in the toilet so hopefully I managed to not make the other passengers feel a bit gross.

I got moved to better seats on the flight out and my flight back, aka aisle and bulkhead so that I can keep my legs up higher on the flight. Ryuchan has been kicking up a storm, especially on the plane where I felt her really strongly, though she was kicking a lot last night.

My hotel room is not non-smoking as advertised but has a huge bed with lots of pillows, free internet and I think free laundry! :D go me!!!

I spent yesterday in Kamakura and today shopping!

*hugs* to everyone!

I plan to! Today is a shopping day and I need to make a list of what I am looking for. I went to the Totoro store yesterday and thought of you, though they didn't have what I wanted :(

I'm trying to be very careful and not overdo things. I try to sit on trains and take advantage of the priority seats since I can now use them without guilt. :D

Glad there was only one episode on the plane! I was hoping you'd come out alright because heck I've gotten ill on just a 2 hour flight to NY ^^;

You two ladies stay safe and have fun! :)

I was glad there was only one episode and it was towards the end of the flight, though it left me feeling off when I arrived in Japan. I'm not sure what caused it, but hopefully I can make it a while before there is another episode. So far I've kept my vitamin down which is always sort of risky. (prenatal vitamins tend to make pregnant women nauseous XD; )

I'm trying to mix sightseeing and not being an invalid with not overdoing things, hopefully I am succeeding!

Sounds like things are being good for you both, other than the unfortunate moment on the plane.

Maybe Ryuchan is kicking so much because she is exited over the trip too~! ^_~

Once is still bad enough on a plane. :-( I'm glad it wasn't more, though, and that you made it out there okay. Yay for lots of pillows and other pluses! Take care, and find something cute for Ryuchan. ^_^

It was pretty unfortunate, but overall the flight was good and my hotel room bed is soooooo nice! ♥

I think she kicks either to thank me for eating or to remind me to eat something already lol

I think so far we are! The hydrangea are in bloom and they're my favorite flower so I'm quite pleased. My new goal is a sun parasol so that I dont have to keep wearing sun screen! :D

You'll look darling with your parasol among the hydrangea!

There's one in my front garden, backed up by pink and yellow lilies. I like it too!

I made an appointment for Sato on the 4th! :D I do need to get lunch before I go, cause we need to eat more than keiki >>;; But maybe you can join us? I have to catch a train to Tokyo at 20:30, so I also just need to get dinner as well. I try to get a good mix of vitamins from food since the prenatal vitamins tend to make me ill. ;;_;;

Sat (today) tomorrow or Sun (tomorrow) tomorrow? I am confused..... Sun I am going to Comic City in the morning to look for goods and buy a gift for [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank and in the afternoon shopping!

I'm still trying to figure out today. I might spend the morning on Odaiba, but I want to leave to get lunch elsewhere since food out here sucks.

So far I've bought tea and honey XD; Is there anything you want??? I'd love to get you something!

It was not fun on the plane but I was just glad it was in the privacy of the bathroom. >>;

I so want a parasol!

I am sure it will be darling, but my main goal is to get one so that I don't get sunburnt! :D My arms are a bit too pink and so are my cheeks. I don't like a lot of sunscreens and they irritate my skin which is ultra sensitive now. I fell in love with one parasol but it was $40 ~.~ I might buy it any way though.

Depending on when you go to Japan you will need to watch the weather. October can still be very warm here. I got an awful sunburn at the Sato event in '07.

Ah, zannen, but I'll be out of town that weekend ;o; I've actually not been to Sato in a while, I've been so busy getting ready to leave TT__TT But if I'm back in town in time, I'd love to catch you for dinner if I can ^_^

I'd ask you to send me some KitKats but I suspect they'd melt in transit! Not to worry this time, thanks - just have fun finding things for the baby and enjoying yourself! *hugs*

I misplaced your keitai # ;;_;; I'm not sure that is going to work out, I leave for Kansai on Tuesday and then leave Sun night to come back to Tokyo and leave Japan. The trip is not so long since I don't really want to be away for husband so long. We're both pretty excited about the baby. :D

She kicks a lot more now and I think I am finally showing. I'm nearly 5 1/2 months now!

I can bring you back Kitkats! :D I can always put them in the fridge and send them when the weather improves. Do you want whatever the current LE is??

So far I've mostly bought tea lol (and well food, we went to Deva Deva today, which is sort of for the baby) With the 2nd highest amount of money going for transportation. I'm trying to be good this trip and keep better track of what I am spending so I don't come home from Japan and wonder what I bought. >>;

It's worth a try! ^_^ At least they're sealed, so even if they melt they won't lose shape too badly. What's around at the moment? Is the raspberry & passionfruit one still in shops or has that one finished now? I think the only thing I'm not brave enough to try is wasabi, or anything else that sounds like it might take the roof off my mouth. Japan entertains me greatly with its Kitkat varieties.

Given that you are now in a new house, it would be good to be able to keep track of what you're buying so you don't end up with lots of things cluttering up the corners! (Food and transportation don't count - you're not taking them home!)

That flavor's long gone and I'm not sure what the new ones are, but I'll be sure to take a look! :D I hope it is something yummy maybe, cherry? I think they are in season now!

Welllll the tea is coming home as is the honey, but some of it are gifts. I've also so far bought a sun hat, one doll outfit, lots of hair scrunchies ♥ , a new wallet, and I think that is it in terms of physical items for me. The hat and scrunchies are most useful though now I want a parasol. >>;;;
