Ohhhhhh awesome!!! I really want to go to Hieizan, would you want to come and what else do you think would be fun to see/do? I'm really open to ideas. How hot is it there right now? We were pretty bad here, but then it cooled down a lot.

I'm thinking of staying in one of the two APA hotels I always stay in near Kyoto eki. Both are free and have good rates! :D The rooms seem perfectly nice for 1 person, just send me a reminder email so I know what you want me to bring please! :)

Okies! I thought they might sell ice cream up there since that makes a wonderful snack. >>; (And softserve seems to be the thing in Japan) I was planning to bring something from Kyoto proper for a real lunch or possibly eat a big lunch at like 11 and spend just the afternoon at Hieizan. Is the Cable car only one way then?

I love gardens! <3 And the Hydrangea should be in season and they're by favorite.

I'm excited though, I've never been to Hiei, and it's the only one of the 3 big Buddhist sights I am missing. (I've gotten Koya-san and Osorezan now.) I'd love to go to Amonohashidate but I am not sure that is in the cards. I've played around with taking a day trip to Kanazawa on Wednesday since I bet the garden is even nicer in the summer. Plus there are places I can eat in Kanazawa I now know! :D It's funny, having my vegetarian guide is very freeing.

I'm debating hotels in Tokyo. Odaiba is a pain since it is far from everything but some of the hotels there have nice beds and good rates. What would you do? I really want a nice bed since sometimes I have problems sleeping cause my uterus is stretching and Ryuchan likes to kick. (At least I think it is her!)

I'd love to try & meet you for dinner! How about either the 29th or 30th? *has to double-triple check schedule*

What time for dinner? I tend to need to eat earlier in the US (unsure about Japan and a little anxious about it) or else suffer dire consequences.

I'll have a rental keitai once again. :)
