The birdhouse in our not quite soul
May. 1st, 2010 05:35 pmToday while I was lying on the blow up mattress we're using as a bed since our bed is in CT while we are in NY until tomorrow early afternoon my hubby decided to try to listen for Ryuu-chan's heart beat. He spent a lot of time with his head pressed against my belly, but only could hear my heart beat. lol He had lifted his head when suddenly I felt an odd flutter in my belly like nothing I've ever felt before... and I think it was the baby! O____O I'm nearly done with week 16 (Tuesday starts week 17) so technically at this point you can feel your baby move if you know what to look for and I think I did! It was so exciting and just makes me feel more pregnant, well in addition to my semi protruding belly, the nausea and the puking lol
It's been weird staying in our very empty house. There is an echo and the house is very empty. I have discovered Coleman blow up mattress are way more comfortable than I ever expected, though they have a weird plasticy smell. >>;
So at this point in time, I'm really hoping (and planning) to go to Japan in late June post NY Dolpa. If you're someone I actually know, I might be able to order you a special FCS from the Ginza store before it closes. I'm determined to work on my trip this week since late June and July are much more popular tourist times than when I usually go to Japan. I'm hoping to see everyone and I'm hoping to get some sightseeing in. Places I'd love to go to hike the remaining 2 Dewa Sanzan, but not sure one can do it pregnant. I know that Gas-san isn't so steep, it's just long. The biggest issue would be keeping up my energy levels by eating enough. Yamagata-ken >< good place to be a vegetarian. ;;_;;
