While checking out a seller on Y!J I want to try to buy a ticket for the evening Basara event from I found out on 12/5 there was a Geass seiyuu event in Japan... and Fukuyama Jun and Sakurai Takahiro and Yukana (and prob other but theirs are the only names I could read) were all there. I missed a Geass seiyuu event completely. I mean realistically I probably could not have gone to Japan (though OMG I would have been so close to 100K then) and like the ticket I saw sell for it went for like $500, but my heart is still breaking. At least I will see Hoshi in a Basara event! I just feel bad since Suzaku will always be my favorite Sakurai character and he's my second favorite seiyuu.

They're all really popular but Geass itself is on its way out. All of them are in new things of course... oddly enough all 3 are in some new series I want to watch in Spring. lol

The other problem is even if there are more events realistically, I am not spending $500 for a ticket lol I did splurge on ones for the Basara event, but even with fees it is going to be less than that and that is for 2 shows. I just got lucky and the Basara one happens to be during a planned trip so all I am doing is leaving Kyoto early to make sure I am back.

No, I'm sort of weird about series and tend to skip most because I don't have the patience to get into them. Right now I am watching nothing lol But in Spring I will watch the new Basara and the new Hoshi+Sakurai series (the one with FukuJun and Yukana) I know FukuJun can do some interesting voice work, it's still sometimes hard for me to get over the fact he sounded soooooooooo different in the first thing I heard him in. lol

Yeah, that was the Lelouch birthday event. It'll be on DVD if that's any consolation? But I guess you wanted to actually be there.

It is some since I am not sure I was prepared to fly to Japan just for the event as well as pay $500+ for a ticket lol Plus it would mean spending my birthday in Japan since Lelouch and I practically share one.

When is the DVD being released, do you know? XD;

I wonder if there will be a DVD release of the event I am going to!

Is it Blueray only or DVD also? I don't have a BluRay player... yet I want a PS3 to play Basara 3 >>;;

I was wondering what that art was for, since I'd started to see it.

I will probably just look for it at Animate or see if I can pre-order it so I cna get points since I am probably going back for GW and SCC. :D I need to apply for SCC spaces when I am there this trip.


And I will look for cameras, I know Basara is pretty popular.

Thanks! :D I will probably have to give in and get it. And now to see if my new event gets filmed. I'm so excited it will be my first seiyuu event and I am in the 13th row. I wonder how many other obvious foreigners will be there lol I so hope there are goods to buy!

They say to come noon for the 13:00 event and I plan to get there a little beforehand since I am shinking from Kyoto earlier in the morning. I am hoping to get there by 11:30 or so. For the second event I will just entertain myself in Yokohama until then though it might be close to the line up time depending on how long this one goes.

It's really exciting.

Well, just make sure to get straight in line when you arrive. Depending on how many people are in front of you, things may sell out. Usually the website for the event will have a list of goods that will be on sale.
