STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday/birthday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ.

STEP TWO
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

From the Inquisition scents, I thought that Comforting Plush Companion and Frivolous Wheeled Footwear looked the most interesting (both were "Nice" scents, IIRC), but I didn't particularly like the t-shirts and Bob thinks I've spent enough on BPAL lately already (and he's right). So I'll just pass. Curious to see what the new Carnivale Diabolique scents are going to consist of.

Secretly, since my husband reads my LJ and I heard rumors his parents and sister were making noises about Birthday gifts for me I am hoping he can recommend to them to get me one of the pricier things from my list. >>;;;

I'm not overly fond of the patchouli or clove in the Wheeled Footwear. I do like ginger a lot which is why I am willing to give the gun one a try, plus I like the name. lol If I can be good and work on sales I might just give in and buy the scents I want since I imagine a lot of people are not joining this inquisition. Though I seriously am not sure what I am going to do with all the shirts if I get them. lol I can't think of anyone I can gift them to.

I'm curious about some of the CD scents myself but who knows when they will be upped.

If I do get Comforting Plush Companion, I'll try to send you an imp to try unless I realllllllly dislike it and I just want to be rid of the whole bottle.
