Because tomorrow the painters are coming to do the dinning room and I need to clean it up enough for them to pain and I have to leave for the train at 6:00 pm and I haven't packed yet. But instead I am sitting on LJ because I am a bad person like that.

[livejournal.com profile] paleonaturist is sure to get a kick out of my non-doll Sato pictures lol Same with [livejournal.com profile] cc_lemon) BTW don't expect a lot of doll pictures cause after falling into the lake my arm hurt a lot and I was not going to carry much with me unless I thought I needed it.

Unlike in March, this time when I went to Owakudani I made sure to dress warm enough, of course this time it was not freezing cold lol

behind those clouds somewhere is Fuji-san

yum, sulphur fumes!

the traditional food to eat in Owakudani is hard boiled eggs cooked in the sulphur/water. They turn black and sell for like 400 yen. Here they are loading up the egg ropeway to send out a new delivery of them to the tourist shops closer to the ropeway station. I did not try one as I hate hard boiled eggs with a passion.

Happy Japanese tourists eating their eggs

The lake I fell sort of into later in the day

Hakone jinja

we didn't go down to the shore since we wanted to make a bus

more of the lake lol

No pictures from yunessun, though you are allowed to take them in the bathing suit area, I was just not going to risk my couple hundred dollar camera. ^_^;;

Fuji-san, of course

If I ever go to Japan in season, I am so climbing it.

As usual I fail as a doll owner and my pictures from Sato are probably not going to be interested in them lol

My membership plaque for my Yo Tenshi Yuh (Kanon) and [livejournal.com profile] paleonaturist's as well. For those curious, yes my family name is misspelled ~.~

illicit non-flash pictures of all the Sato One Offs

Look [livejournal.com profile] cc_lemon you're here to with Miranda.

The SwD Mamu I no longer own. ^_^;;; but they spelt my name right! I wish I was there for my Yuki (Gino)!

[livejournal.com profile] chocolate_chip from hands down my favorite part of that day, KARAOKE!

My least non fail picture of Kyoto station

Kyoto Tower, Tokyo Tower's uglier and lamer cousin

Fuji-san through the clouds from the plane. I flew from Nagoya to Hakodate thanks to my Air Pass discounted ticket. It's faint cause the weather was not very clear but you can see it.

Towadako from the air. [livejournal.com profile] ee970 and I drove alone the edge closest to us when we went to Hirosaki!

I think this is the Shimokita Peninsula from the air, if not it might be Aomori

Right after that I got in trouble for taking pictures from the plane lol

The next set of pictures will be some places that are a little more off the beaten path. Lots of people go to places like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone, and Kamakura. It's not that people don't visit these places Oirase was crawling with Chinese tourists, but if you visit say Japan Guide things in Tohoku are just less popular because they are often harder to get to and involve buses.

I also need to share some pictures from April/May at some point since I realized I don't think I shared pictures of Sakata (watch me pretend to be in Okuribito (Departures) and unknowingly get hit on) Haguro-san (sacred mountain of the Dewa Sanzan, the other two were closed on account of snow) a few pictures from when I rented a private bath in Zao Onsen, and Yonezawa (burial place of Uesugi Kenshin)
