For those curious, I am home! I decided to splurge and paid for a Business class upgrade because I could not face more completely full flights.

Now to get ready for the next trip....

Thanks! I'm not sending postcards until the next trip because I just had no time this one. ^_^;;;

I probably overpaid but I knew my flight was going to be full just like my last ones and I hadn't been sleeping enough in Japan and could use the sleep on the plane. I paid about $600 to upgrade the Osaka to San Francisco leg. If any seats had been available it would have been free to upgrade SF to NY. I believe a Business Class round trip generally sells for $3000.

I've used free upgrades to get business class from NY to CA and have twice turned in miles to get business class from the US to Japan. It really is nicer, by a lot. >>;

I so needed it. ;;_;; I barely got 5 hours of sleep per night over the last week. ;;_;; I think the plane was the most I'd gotten.

I'm so looking forward to seeing you next trip, please let me know if I can bring you anything or you will get surprises. OK you will get surprises regardless lol

Yes, the flights all got in early, which I was particularly thankful about with the CA to NY one! ♥ But I hate transferring through CA and I'm sooooooo glad I am going direct next time.

I'm so looking forward to seeing you. If you still have it, I might ask you to bring me the box of Godiva since I might be going to Kyoto for 1 day now after all. >>;;

I'm excited to show you Tokyo, hopefully you'll come to enjoy it as much as I do. ^_^

*snuggles* Hope you got some good rest afterwards, too.
I'll let you know if anything comes to mind :)
When are you leaving? the 15th?

*snuggles* I have been averaging 8 hours of sleep again which is good. I think if I get under 7 it makes it hard for me to function. ;;_;;

Please do... I could bring you books... yummy delicious English books!

I leave here on the 15th so arrive on Friday the 16th. I am not sure what time my flight gets it, it's the ANA one. I have money and Erin's keitai so I just need to get my passes settled and then I can leave Narita for Tokyo. So I can text you when we land or when I am in line for Customs. :D I don't know if my bag gets tagged specially like with United, but Japanese baggage claim tends to be amazing.

Ah~ that's right! You travel a lot and can easily rack up points and perks! Those long stretch flights are *so* nice to have that extra leg-room and quiet. I have such a long ways to go - despite my flights out of Hawaii being a decent distance, I've only been racking up points with this local carrier. I only have enough points for a single RT flight from here to the west coast, coach. Aaaaalmost enough for a single way 1st class flight to the west coast. :\ Gah.

Sorry this took so long, I've been awful behind with things. ;;_;;

Is your local carrier connected to other airlines? A lot of them are now connected together. I started rather accidentally using United but now that I have status with United it behooves me to keep using them or one of their partners. When I can, I love using ANA simply because they have nicer food and entertainment options. (Plus it is direct from NY) It is just lovely flying business class/first class on most flights lol I use to have use it or lose it upgrade certificates so I remember putting in for upgrades on a few shorter flights like Denver to NY.

I've used up a lot of points through the years and I currently have around 130k and Premier Exec status.
