Please let this be October 2003 redux, since seriously those were prob 2 of my all time favorite trips to Japan and bodes well for the doujinshi event.

Sorry for being so missing from LJ, my sister is in town and my brother just got engaged and my grandmother just went into the hospital with a broken bone. O_O

And I'm going to a wedding for one of my cousin's next week o_O;

It's cause we need to buy airfare and y'alls don't. lol But yes, I got official notification I am in.

So I am in for the Cruise and the Sato event on Sunday so I guess I am going lol Not sure if I am going to make it the full 6 or so hours just cause I want to eat food I can eat. Am definitely going to my favorite place for dinner on Sun night in Kyoto.

I won the captain's hand/sword thing but I think lost the two outfits.

THANK YOU!!!! *hugs* I feel awful cause it is one less week end of Sukkot but secretly I've always wanted to get up close and personal with the bridge and this is a great chance.

I'm super nervous and excited. I also feel overwhelmed since it means I need to finish my doujinshi by then. ^^;;;

I seriously am still in shock that I won a space! I've never really done a boat cruise like this before and it's super exciting.

Do you know anyone else who applied??? I'm so curious if anyone else I know is going or might have heard. I guess people in Japan have to wait another 2 weeks or so.

Yes, I'm going back in Oct cause I have another event on the 18th that is a non-doll event.

Is it Idrisfynn and St. James and whoever else they are going with? I saw that they were going to be in Japan in Oct, I recc'd they try to go to the Sato event the following week end.

I think it's great too. I was going to apply as a VS member, but now I know much sooner so I can get my airfare now vs. September.

I thought your sister Rose might apply. But I guess not.

I'm glad I talked to a friend in Osaka and she said I could stay with her. :D

I know this sounds all cliche, but to me just winning a space is enough of a win. I do not have high expectations to win anything else. I don't think I've even gotten 4 in a row at any bingo lol I don't even win the postcards lol

But winning a space on the cruise is pretty awesome! I also won a space at the Sato event the next day! :D

I shall try to get a lot of pictures. I will make sure to charge up the new camera and if I can I will try to make a few videos.

I don't know Idrisfynn and St. James plans. But I have a friend "Brian" who might need some basic traveling in Japan help. He's going in Oct.

Sister started a new job so too soon for her to take a vacation. Maybe next spring or summer for her.

OMG it is! I love seeing my family, but it's been every day out running around since last Saturday when I met Erin. (though it was awesome seeing her and we ate much yummy food! )

also the whole grandmother thing is stressful

I was going to ask you a favor and more about the Shuugo Chara musical from that one LJ post since my little 2nd cousin loves the anime lol (I've been trying to read posts I've just not been commenting ;;_;; )

BTW do you want anything from the US? The first trip I'm just going to be in Kansai for a few days and then I will come back later in the month for the event. My circle passes should be going to your place.
