Personally, I don't think it's that hard to see the connections, but that could just be me.

Things have been busy here. I managed to injure my hand in CA and I've had some unpleasant adventures with trying to get my car fixed and inspected. ;;_;; I have been taking garden pictures but have not been good about editing them. It makes me think I need a Flickr account just to make the uploading easier. >>; The green beans and scarlet runner beans are doing amazing and I'm excited to be eating fresh and local produce finally. I also now own my own dehydrator. It is made of win.

Does anyone on my flist know how to rip a R2 DVD onto your hard drive? I want to convert it to some other formats so I can share if with those people who do not have code-free DVD players. namely my in-laws

And let me just say... not only am I looking forward to season 2, but Date and Sanada are such a couple. I am somewhat in awe. Between the way they support each other physically, Sanada giving Date his head band of power, and just the ending... where they use the power of their true love to defeat Oda. And during the credits... wow.. so Sasuke wins the heart of Kasuga who is rebounding because the man she loves wants to either be in Heaven or fighting with Takeda Shingen. And then.. Date rides up to claim hisbride fight with Sanada. I am in awe. Oh Capcom, you love your fangirls, or at least the ones who ship Date/Sanada like me.

Oda killing his sister rocked as did his magic cloak of doom and his power of making evil stain glass windows. And I love the fact Oda is just evil. He's not like a Clamp or Gundam character with good intentions that have been twisted, he's just EVIL. And that sort of makes him awesome.

Also Koujirou/Akechi so awesome! I think it doesn't hurt that I always secretly liked the idea of Tatsumi/Muraki and here I get to enjoy it in the long fight those two never got in YnM. Plus Akechi cackles like a mad man! though sadly Koujirou is lacking glasses of manliness which makes me sad, Tatsumi was hotter than Koujirou >>;

That's a really interesting meme. I'd say maybe you lean towards the angry kids with a good heart? That seems to fit a lot of the characters I see. A lot of those are my favorite characters, too!

Hm... VLC player might rip DVDs... and I know it'll play R2 DVDs regardless of what region your laptop player is. That's how I watch my Merlin DVDs! :D

So, based on that meme, I'd say you like the "cute, heroic boy next door" (Suzaku, Saji, Syaoran and Akira) with occational "trying to act cold and tough but really being all vulnerable inside" (Kamui, Fakir and to an extend, Malik). This indicates that you are either:
-a (closet?) domina, who prefers men she can whip into obedience fairly easily

I have a code-free player which is what I use, but my in-laws are unlikely to use VLC and I want to give them a copy of this movie. I also don't want to buy a 2nd copy because Japanese DVDs are outrageously expensive

So ideally, I want to rip it so I can share with people.

Hehehe, I always think of it as characters who are really bottom or voiced by Hoshi Souichirou or Sakurai Takahiro, once I really like a seiyuu I tend to like their characters a lot just based on that.

Thanks it really is frustrating because I want to be out planting and it is a bit hard right now. Though I am hoping to get a little bit in the ground despite everything because I need to plant and put up the tomato plant supports

I think I tend to be like the Japanese and prefer characters who I think are more like me or who I would like to be like. Though I wonder what it says about me that I want to sort of be like Suzaku lol When I can, I like trying to cosplay as my favorites, though I will probably never get to be Sanada lol

It's not actual Malik, it's YGOTAS series Marik, and I think I love him because he's just so... incompetent. Whenever I feel sad I just watch him try to have his evil council of doom meet and then my day feels brighter. lol
