I actually sold a book to someone I do not know!!! A Japanese person bought my 2 copyhons and said they were cute!!!! OMG!!! I got my wish, someone who I did not know bought my books! ♥

I was also carded 4 times when buying over 18 books. 4x. I am so much over 18 this makes me laugh hard.

YES! Rachel, I am so proud. Score one for the foreign fangirls. ^_^

I was also carded 4 times when buying over 18 books.

Seriously? I don't think you look your age (and I know you don't act it) but under 18? No way. Did you manage to keep a straight face?

Oh, that's really exciting! It's how I felt at the last LA Dolpa when one of the Japanese attendees actually bought something from my booth.*_*

You've always seemed younger than you are to me. I think that your sweet smile and voice are very youthful.^_^

Yay for your sale!! ^_^

Did you tell the people/vendors that they made your day when they carded you? That's what I tell people on the rare occasion I get carded for buying a bottle of wine. If the person who carded me looks like they could be my kid, I have to stop myself from hysterically laughing.

Yes, seriously, it was buying Reborn books for Kim lol At first I was confused as to what the person wanted and then was just shocked lol After the 2nd or 3rd time it got annoying because I had to dig out my Passport to show my age.

And I am so so so so thrilled about having sold my books!

BTW I like Fukuoka! except when the guy hit on me, that was weird

I looked for Loop for you, but their new books were text only. Let me know if you would still want them before SCC

Except you're actually really talented at sewing and I am mediocre at best at drawing. And no, I'm not just being modest, there are a lot of Japanese doujinshika who are much much better than me, particularly in Geass fandom while I've seen your sewing and have seen Japanese items for sale.

Thank you! I do like being taken for younger than I am, but under 18 is sort of pushing it. XD;;; 5-6 years ago I could believe it but I really don't think I can pass now.

I am still really glad about selling my books and I do like it when people think I am younger though it got a bit old having to break out my id. lol

The first one, I did, the 2nd-4th it was a bit annoying since I had to go digging out my Passport so I could prove I was over 18. >>;; I've gotten carded a few times buying alcohol, my favorite being the time I was buying a bottled of kosher wine with my mom lol

And thank you, I am still pleased as punch about selling those 2 copyhons!

Thanks! I was really pretty shocked. There are so many talented doujinshika in the fandom in Japan.

Thank you for your postcard! ^_^ I received it a couple of days ago, actually, but life has been a bit hectic to get near the Internet. (My boss left today, so we had his leaving party last night.) I think I would've liked Fukuoka better if it hadn't been 37 degrees Celsius when I was there, so it was too hot to spend more time outdoors than we could help. The little ice cream symbols and things on the subway stations were very cute, though.

Yeah, they do some text-only ones. No matter how cute the covers are, I figure it's not worth it for me to get them because it would take me about a year to read them. Thank you for looking, though!
