Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your friends! Try not to be lame and spoil the fun! If you get tagged, copy this entire survey and paste into your own blog, change all of the answers so that they apply to you.
The theory is that you will learn a lot of little things about your friends that you might not have known! Some of you may get tagged several times, so they can always refer back to your blog for your answers.
1. What time did you get up this morning? This time of year, between 8 and 8:30, in the summer it is more like 6:30-7
2. Diamonds or pearls? Both. >>;; I almost always wear a simple pearl necklace now and my diamond engagement ring.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?Wall-e cause I suck and never go to the movies anymore.
4. What is your favorite TV show?Code Geass, oh wait that is over uhhh 24? Maybe I guess? I don't really watch TV.
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Trader Joe's instant Oatmeal with extra cinnamon and a cup or two of green tea.
6. What is your middle name? Helene ~.~
7. What food do you dislike? Mayonnaise, it is satanic.
8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Uhh I generally listen to mp3 mixes so uhh maybe Avenue Q?
9. What kind of car do you drive? Saturn form 1997 Woot!
10. Favorite sandwich? Baguette with sliced parmesan cheese, arugula, pear and dressed with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and black pepper.
11. What characteristic do you despise? Hypocrites. >>;
12. Favorite item of clothing? The charcoal gray scarf I got as a gift fromyanchamonkey and muscatlove for my birthday a few years ago.
13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Alone? uhh Japan and with the hubby, unsure?
14. Favorite brand of clothing? J.CrewYes, I am a preppie wannabe
15. Where would you retire to? Here, where I live. Or somewhere with good public transportation as driving sucks.
16. What was your most recent memorable birthday? The one it snowed 6 inches. ~.~
17. Favorite sport to watch? I don't watch sports, any. I hate most sports with a passion

21. Are you a morning person or a night person? Sometimes it feels like neither anymore ;;_;;

23. Pets? Cookie and Basil my two little old kitties who I love dearly.
24. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share with us? I'm going to try to do a doujinshi and I am going to Japan in January?
25. What did you want to be when you were little? A lawyera big blue one:P
26. How are you today? I just burned my tongue on my tea. ;;_;;
27. What is your favorite candy? Godiva Chocolate Covered Cherries.
28. What is your favorite flower? I like a lot but am particularly fond of: Hydrangea, azalea, lilacs and wisteria.
29. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? January 11, or is it dreading?

31. What are you listening to right now? See music choice on LJ entry.
32. What was the last thing you ate? Annie's instant macaroni and cheese with extra garlic cheddar cheese and some black pepper with a cup of green tea.
33. Do you wish on stars? No, not really.
34. If you were a crayon, what colour would you be? Bright and sunny yellow or perhaps a happy reddish/pink color.
35. How is the weather right now? Colder than I would like but warmer than it was.
36. The first person you spoke to on the phone today? My mom.
37. Favorite soft drink? GUS Ginger Ale and I sadly still have a weakness for Diet Coke >>;
38. Favorite restaurant? Gobo! OMG so good! And I loved Cafe Proverbs.
39. Real hair colour? Nearly black, some people think it is black, but it's not.
40. What was your favorite toy as a child? Barbies, my favorite always got to date Indiana Jones cause Ken sucked.
41. Hugs or kisses? Both.
42. Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate, but not if it's white.
43. Coffee or tea? Coffee as a treat if it's a weird Starbucks drink otherwise tea, preferably green or flavored black. But green is my favorite.

45. When was the last time you cried? Last night while watching FMA with my husband. >>;;;Luckily, I don't think he noticed
46. What is under your bed? Dust, some books and huge clumps of cat sheddings.
47. What did you do last night? Watched FMA with my husband on our new TV!
48. What are you afraid of? Peak Oil and Recessions.
49. Salty or sweet? I like sweet things. :D
50. How many keys on your key ring? No idea? I just know there is a chibi Shinn from Destiny. lol
51. Favorite day of the week? All days are happy.
52. If you can choose your talent, what would it be? Being fluent in Japanese. >>;
53. Do you make friends easily? I dunno know. People tell me I am very friendly and outgoing lol

1) Is there some sort of event you want to attend in Japan
2) The weather in Japan
3) Cost
One small piece of advice I would love to offer before you book flights, if you can try to fly into one airport and out another. That way you don't need to get a rail pass as long and don't need to back track. I usually do this, like in Oct. :D

Date: 2008-12-03 07:58 pm (UTC)I had a 12 inch tall Indiana Jones doll and dating him was Barbie's greatest dream. My second favorite Barbie got to date Luke Skywalker since he was not quite as hot. When I got older I switched to my brother's Gi-Joes. With Barbie, you always had like 7 or 8 Barbies fighting for 1 male doll while with my brother's Gi-Joe's I could have 50 guys all fighting over Baroness! It was awesome XD;
And GiJoe got to ride My Little Ponies! XD;;;;You did? Oh, yes
