Most of the people I know seem to have gone to see Twilight but I just can't bring myself to waste the cost of a ticket for the amusement. It's the sort of thing I would rather watch in the privacy of my own home preferably with friends so it can be heckled loudly. >>;;

I've made a tiny barely noticeable dent on sales, but hopefully I can work on them between baking tomorrow and all the other things I'm supposed to be getting done. Lately, I've been obsessing over "In Search Of" the bad 1970's-to early 1980's TV show. It's one of the few TV shows both my husband and I have strong memories of watching as children. In fact it made such an impression on me, I remember going to the library after my favorites episodes and researching the topics shared. I found a few episodes on Youtube, but sadly not the one I most want to re-watch, Future Life 2010 XD;;; I am dying to see what was predicted for 2010. Sometimes I try to think back and wonder about what I imagined for the future and what things that seem commonplace now seemed hard to imagine.

Despite the fact I have 3 weeks, I've started on my holiday shopping for people, so next up is starting to fill out cards. And working on Japan... I need to make out an itinerary so I can beg help to see if possible I can stay at that hotel I like in Ikebukuro. >>;; Though of course staying near Tokyo eki==Dean and Deluca, though I could always train it to Tokyo eki for Dean and Deluca. >>;;; I just love that place...

I bought some new hats this week end so if anyone is into Japanese fashion or knows someone who might want to buy a Metamorpheses hat, PLMK I think I prefer my Marshalls hats, they look a little more pedestrian but still let me wear a hat. :)

I was going to see 'Twilight' because although I don't like the book, I'm curious why it's SO popular. The reactions from people who have seen it are varied though, and now I'm not really sure anymore >>

Oh yeah!! The holiday season's coming!! ^^

Most of the reviews I've read of the books and the movies involved more laughing at it, than thinking it is good. I don't doubt I would feel the same, for one thing, for me the whole point of vampire stories is some smut! >>;;

Yes, and I am determined to get out Holiday cards before Channukah/Christmas. :D

Yes, I heard it is very cheezy, but is it so cheezy it makes you laugh like Plan 9 From Outer Space or just so cheezy it makes you roll your eyes, that is the real question.

I can't even think of Twilight without laughing, so I don't think I'll be seeing it. Maybe if it happens to show while I'm on a plane of something.

Headed back to Japan again so soon? Rachel, sometimes I really do want your life. I guess by this point, there are probably places you like all over Tokyo, so choosing where to stay must involve a fair bit of weighing up the choices.

I hope your hand heals up soon! *hugs* And yes, get some dishwashing gloves. I couldn't live without mine.

My hand hurts soooooooo much ;;_;;

Going to Japan is my true hobby, even more than the smaller ones involving collecting various items. lol I do have a lot of places I like, I tend to pick on price+location. I love the Dean and Deluca near Tokyo Station, but I think this time I might stay in Ikebukuro if that place I stayed the time we were in Japan is available. I'm still debating Osaka. I want to go to Kansai Comic City, it's like a mini Comiket with all the extras+no fanboys! Plus I am selling my own doujinshi there :P

I like smut in my vampire stories I realized. But the summary I linked to sends me into gales of laughter and I would highly recommend it.
