Code Geass 21

I was really anxious for episode 21 of Geass, so anxious I downloaded the fast subs just so I could watch it.

I finished it about an hour ago but have been re-watching bit and screen capping a bit. Let's see without being so spoilery... Episode 21 was not anything like I expected. OK that is not true, I suspected a few tiny bits, but there was lots of complete shocks. There are a few oh snap moments but not like in episode 19 which still wins the Oh Snap award.

It is great grist for the RP

and for sumeragiskank there is absolutely no Gino/Kallen Though Kallen's curse seems true and Gino got like all of 2 super short lines



OMG Geass does====SEED!!!!!!

First, I want to se young Chaz and young VV getting it on. The flashback of them was too cute. So VV killed Marianne in a jealous fit because he was worried his brother was going to break his promise and Chaz got pissed cause VV lied to him about killing Marianne. That love triangle is so messed up. It makes the FMA Scar/Scar's brother/Lust love triangle look normal. Lelouch took the fact his mom was sort of evil way better than I expected..

I still vote I would happily watch the Chaz+Lulu show. They can talk philosophy and CC+Marianne can be their neighbors and Suzaku can deliver the pizza.

Suzaku seemed completely normal at the start of the episode. He was all cute and dorky and then gets to come and see the big finale.. which surprisingly did not happen in the last episode. o_O;

He also takes orders really well which is good considering where the episode is going...

So the big battle happens, Suzaku backs up Lelouch, but Lelouch gets to be the man and defeat his own demons and his parents. I also for once totally agree with him, I think no matter how much we want to stop time, in the end it's good we can't. I think it's important that time marches on.

And then comes the end of the episode...

First, I hate time skips since Sunrise likes to forget they happened and also really 1 month is a lot of time and no one is like asking any questions...

But I must describe the end!

The emperor is announced, a pair of obviously Ashford pants walk out and sit on the throne and then cross their legs super gayly. I think we all know who it must be. Rivalz and Milly freak, Ody and Carine and Guinevere are there and pretty shocked and Lelouch announces he is the Emperor and killed the last one. People freak and he is attacked and SUZAKU SPIN KICKS FROM THe CEILING AND SAVES LELOUCH!!!! And is the new Knight of the ZERO. Now I hate to say this, but I have read countless doujinshi of the Suzaku/Lelouch and Lelouch/Suzaku variety where this is the exact same plot. (BTW Gino is elsewhere and gets a 2 second appearance to be shocked Lelouch is now emperor. We have no idea where Anya is and there is an actual Anya not just Marianne/Anya. ) So yes, Lelouch is Kira and Suzaku is his Asuran

I love Kallen and Kaguya being all WTF to Suzaku's new promotion.

Schneizel is plotting in Cambodia and is excited to take on Lelouch for the world. I think I want episode 22 now.

CC is looking depressed probably because little Raito is on his power trip as the new Emperor.

I can't wait to see Lelouch and Suzaku's new upgraded costumes since Suzaku can't be Knight of the Zero in an Ashford Uni. I'm also curious what Gino's reaction is going to be to him. Maybe he'll get a hug.



And at least for my fellow GinoSuza fangirls we got this adorable eye catch at the end of the episode

I enjoyed parts of it but I really expected the whole showdown with Chaz and Marianne to take a whole heck of a lot longer after the build up.

I have to say, that between the fastness and the end of the episode, it was completely unexpected. I mean I expected Lelouch and Suzaku to have some sort of dialog and not end the series with Lelouch hating Suzaku, I just didn't expect that. It so seems like a doujinshi. I mean seriously I can think of 3 or 4 doujinshi within seconds where Suzaku becomes Lelouch's knight, possibly even called the Knight of the Zero.

Though I guess can't complain since this is the first episode in a while where I don't feel super depressed after. I hated seeing Suzaku completely sell out his ideals in 20 and the way he just stared angstily at the pool in 19. I just wish he was being gay with Gino >>;

It works very nicely for nukezaku though particularly since in from_zero_to's last comment he was offering to advise Suzaku using his danger sense.

I sort of want to know where Anya is ^^;;

And no idea how you missed the eye catch. My friend ee970 who watched the actual episode on Japanese TV said it was there and she thought of me cause she knows I am such a huge GinoSuza shipper XD;;; I am so making it into a LJ icon. I love the hand on Suzaku's shoulder. ♥ OMG I have so many new GinoSuzu doujinshi coming!!!!! My friend in Kyoto got me some and my other friend got me some too ♥ ♥

I think Lelouch needs to read the end of Death Note though. Raito took over the world and killed all of his enemies...only to be done in by Ryuk. Clearly he needs to watch out of CC is looking unamused.

Marianne and Charles being totally simpatico disappointed me a bit, since I always imagined the backstory there being a bit more complicated. On the other hand, V.V. whipping out a MACHINE GUN and taking out his sister-in-law to strike a blow for brotherly love cracks me up, so I'm cool with it. XD

LMaoz!!!! About Suzaku(can't seem to make of his mind) being Lelouch's Athrun, I totally agree!!!!! I was thinking along that thought when I was watching Turn 21.

I hope Suzaku will not have to go against Gino......*refering to the sour face of Gino in the OP*

Ahh, I think it's because I don't really like it. It's one thing to have a depressing episode and not liking it, but seriously, this episode actually pissed me off in a way that the depressing episodes didn't -_-

I think I'll just wait for updates on your crack RP and see if it can make me feel better XD

The eyecatch is seriously cute *_* After watching the episode the first time, I thought all hope of GinoSuza is over, but hmm, maybe it isn't. Ooh, lucky you! How many GinoSuza doujinshi do you have now? And you'll still have to go to Japan for that event XD

Well except it sort of is, because VV thought Chaz was betraying him for Marianne and Chaz thought VV betrayed him killing Marianne and in the end they were sort of on the same page. VV is such a Borgia agent. ♥ I loved the machine gun.

(No it would be even cooler than Fraiser! Cause Lelouch could keep trying to kill Chaz. lol )

Of course you can friend me! I'm currently being slow to friend people back since on the 16th i am going away and I need to do a cull first. I post boring real life entries and ponder much on Japan since I tend to go a few times a year >>;; (With a trip coming up on 10/16 lol)

I'm a little angsty in terms of I like people to comment occasionally on my posts so I know they care lol

Suzaku is so Athrun with his father issues and angsting and inability to make decisions. and his constantly changing sides and going back to the side he doesn't like Though Suzaku might possibly be more angsty/uke since he fails more than Athrun when it comes to trying to kill Lelouch/Kira.

I just don't know.. I mean Rolo has a happy face in the OP and so does Anya and Cornelia and Guilford are together... I think the OP might not be that useful this time around. ^^;;; Though that ending image of Lelouch/Suzaku with the sword seems very right now

I so need a LJ icon based around it. The drawing so made my day. :D

I think at this point anything that doesn't make me want to curl into a ball makes me happy. >>;; I can see why the episode pissed you off it is a bit incongruous. I'm more disappointed things went so fast.

And Suzaku updated I'm hoping Gino responds soon. Can you tell I play more than just Suzaku >>;

Really? I didn't even without the eye catch. ^^;; I mean it's now more LuluSuza, but it's not as if Gino is with someone else. And I'm not really sure how much Suzaku is with Lelouch in a romantic way. I certainly don't think GinoSuza is over. ^^;;; I don't know? I should try to count, I know it is a lot

True on the ending image of LelouchSuzaku, it really does fit the way things are now, and I got the feeling that Lelouch is feeling smug about taking Suzaku "away" from Gino

I can see what you mean. Yes, of course being happy is better for everyone. I just hope Sunrise could come up with a better way to achieve that point. I just can't help thinking that this is just another fanservice because Lelouch and Suzaku working together again is like the wet dream of so many fans.

Really? I sort of expected that either 1) They would come together part way through R2 and become team "AsuKira" and fight for freedom and justice. 2) They make peace at the end of the series see team "ShinnKira", or 3) Suzaku dies tragically before they make up and Lelouch looks at the sky and promises to make the lies come true for Suzaku's sake only after realizing what a friend Suzaku was. We now know 3 is not happening and I am GREATLY relieved by this. I always expected Lelouch and Suzaku to work together. I was surprised how it happened and how fast it happened, but I have totally expected it for a long time now. Between Shirley's speech to Suzaku and the fact Suzaku was willing to work with Lelouch pre-Kanon nearly taking off his hand, it makes sense. However making him the Knight of the Zero is totally something out of a doujinshi. Possibly one I own. >>;

Hehehe it works well for me since Lelouch and Suzaku had already patched things up somewhat in the RP. Plus Lelouch had been offering to make Suzaku a new uniform 3 or so weeks ago. XD; Nope! And that means I am doing a good job if you can't tell it is me :D

Well if you're asking me if I think the series is going to end with them getting married, no. But I think Sunrise is going to be careful not to completely close off any pairing probably and leave it open. (Unless they go all JKR and marry people off o_O; ) Sunrise made an eyecatch of them, they know it has fans. If anything it shows that Suzaku doesn't want to die so much anymore and he didn't pick to spend eternity with Euphie. >>; I know one friend has like 10 or so new GinoSuza books for me and another friend has like 5 or 6? I think? One is good about mailing the other is not. I know there are at least 3 or 4 other books I want from one of the Japanese stores. Once I have all my books I will try to let you know how many I own total vs. how many are coming in the mail.

He is like a less manly Athrun which is sort of scary <<;; Nah he's totally what happens when Syaoran and Subaru have a son. I think he just doesn't have it in him. Despite his high body count, Suzaku is just not much of a killer vs. Lelouch.

He might have died sort of happy cause he saved his Nii-san but well he doe still die! But Guilford does not ever see Cornelia again and they are happy in space together. C.C. certainly doesn't seem happy with new power hungry Lulu. And Sayoko is all happy and well... I think you need to take the OP with a grain of salt In R1, Euphie was all happy and well we know what happened to her. Besides Gino was already unhappy a bunch of times it might be those time the OP was referring to. ^^; Lelouch is just smug in general, though yeah I think he is pleased to take Suzaku from Gino. >>; Gino is just confused by Lelouch now being the Emperor. But that picture of Suzaku and Lelouch in the ED just seems very... accurate now. Particularly since Suzaku is the one holding the sword and is the knight.

Yea, you do have a point there that I have to take the OPwith a grain of salt XD.While Gino is confused by Lelouch being the Emperor, maybe he is feeling jealousy bout Suzaku being Lelouch's knight,and wants Suzaku to be with him instead.

Yes, I think it's one of the things I like about him. Despite everything that has happened, at heart Suzaku is a nicer person and tries to be a good person.

I mean the angry Gino could refer to the angry Gino post the bomb.. or angry Gino when Schneizel had his coup and took advantage of a broken Suzaku to do his dirty work... I think while I love Suzaku, I would NEVER want him as my knight since all the people who have had him as such have died! It's like being Governor of Area 11. Both positions are so cursed. lol It's like being a US President in 24 or dating Jack Bauer. Though I doubt Gino trusts that Lelouch isn't taking advantage of Suzaku since well lots of people do. lol But I do think he wants Suzaku with him and I am hoping in 22 they will talk, perhaps while Lelouch has his talk with Kallen

Probably that is one one of his main qualities, and again similar to Athrun XD.

I'm the friend who gets to go for their friends XD;; Fortunately, I do like anime/manga/yaoi but a few of my friends follow series I don't. I try to help but there are things I won't buy if I hate the pairing. >>;

But Kira is also actually a nice person while I am a lot less sure of Lelouch XD;;; I personally, think Suzaku is a better person than Athrun, he's had a much harder life.

No matte what I'm just not that concerned. ^^;; Gino and Suzaku were quite gay and gay long enough that they are getting a 100 person event and get quite a lot of doujinshi. I can't really complain. ^^

Kira is definitely a nice person. Lelouch can be a mini Raito XD. As for Suzaku, I think he is a combination of AsuKira.


I want them to gay a lil longer and more lol!
