AthrunxKira: Athrun, the official romanization (or Asuran as I prefer) is one of the main characters in the anime Gundam Seed Kira is the other main character and Athrun's childhood best friend. They share angsty flashbacks with falling sakura and obsess about one another. Being a pervert, I like to imagine their friendship as something more. I like Athrun topping, so his name gets to go first. :D
Code Geass: Code Geass is an anime by Sunrise with character designs by Clamp. The first part aired from 2006-2007 and it was recently licensed for US release. It involves mecha, revolution and high school hijinks. It's actually a really good story and all the characters are incredibly likable. I absolutely adore it, and my favorite character unlike most of the fans is Kururugi Suzaku.
collecting postcards: Post college I started collecting Vintage postcards. I love Judaica, Oberlin Ohio ones, and New Rochelle New York. Most of my cards are pre-1940 and I have a lot from the very early 1900's and possibly one from the 1890's. I also enjoy reading the inscriptions on the back when they've been used.
Lemon Ice King: The Lemon Ice King of Corona is an Italian Ice parlor in Corona, Queens. It's been around since the 1920's and has over 20 different flavors of Italian Ice, with its lemon being the most famous. My favorite is the vanilla chip and the pistachio though.
the Titanic: As a little kid I loved In Search Of with Leonard Nimoy, and my favorite episode involved the search for the Titanic. I use to devour books about the ship and I still just find it as well as other disasters at sea (like the Andrea Doria) just fascinating. I don't know how many times I've read A Night to Remember.
Wankage: What happens when 4 Clamp/slash fangirls with m-preg and crossover fetishes get snowed in at Katsucon? You get Wankage. Unfortunately unfinished, Wankage is the story of what happens when Touya Akira (Hikaru no Go) hires an onmyouji (Sumeragi Subaru of X/1999/TokyoBablyon fame) to find out why Shindou Hikaru (Hikaru no Go) acts the way he does and Isumi Shinichiro (Hikaru no Go) searches to find his true parents. All three Hikaru no Go boys get caught up in the epic battle of good vs. evil as Borgia (the pro-incest sentai team lead by Sakurazuka Seishirou of X/1999/Tokyo Babylon, Hiragizawa Eriol of CCS, and Fuji Syuusuke of PoT) take on AID or the Anti-Incest Defenders (lead by Shirou Kamui of X/1999, Kakyou of X/1999) in the battle of the century. Somewhere the fic might still be available to read, you can find fan-art for it here (as well as some Wankbasa fan-art.) Wankbasa is the scary semi-official sequel.
Watership Down: Is a book written by Richard Adams about rabbits. When I was really little I use to watch the animated and at times creepy and violent cartoon movie on HBO. It's still a favorite of mine after all these years.
