Yesterday, I received my first official birthday gift, rather early, but I'm not complaining since so far I love it, well mostly. I am now the proud owner of one of those new generation 2 13 inch MacBooks. Let's hope for no problems with overheating.

So far:

It's MUCH faster than my iBook
It can actually play some of the avis which use to lose frames on my iBook
The monitor is larger, without being overwhelming
ComicLife
It's easier to install fonts lol
The letters seem actually a part of the keys rather than thermographed on, which is a very good thing

The keyboard is weird though, spacing of keys is different and the pressure to type is different
For some reason I only have 9.5 gigs free instead of 17.2 on my old Mac WTF 6gigs of additional crap that came with it!?!?
For some reason it does not refresh well in regards to deleting
My mp3 of Once in a Lifetime by Wolfsheim, which I've listened to 383 times, no longer plays ;;_;; (if anyone has a playing copy I would be so so so obliged)

Not sure how I feel about the magnet cord, it pulls out easy which is both nice and not nice. o_O
