Generally, I can't stand Bush. His policies in normally make my skin crawl, and I am proud to say not only didn't I vote for him for president 2x, but I also voted for Ann Richardson. :P

However, the recent NYTimes article about Bush and Koizumi's trip to Graceland had me in stitches. "I knew he liked Elvis, but I didn't know he liked Elvis That much" just has me in stitches and emphasis mine. It didn't help that the political slash was high, with talk of the intimate relationship between the US and Japan. I could just see Bush as the poor dumb put upon seme while on the plane, Koizumi bouncing around expectantly and playing loud Presley music, while Bush just goes ~.~ And then at Graceland, Koizumi kept KARAOKING and posing, so amusing. It makes me think I ought to write an appeal to Koizumi, as one fan to another, to help make some of my Japanese fantasies come true (other than meeting Kouga-san *___*) i think meeting MatsuKen would be pretty fabulous or perhaps Chairman Kaga.. or seiyuu, just imagine the possibilities and really I would be much better behaved than Koizumi and not scare the museum curators by donning Presley's glasses or frightening Lisa Marie. I was extremely good with Kouga-san, mostly. >>

Verizon has called us 3 times to remind us our appointment to get FiOs is tomorrow. One would think they would realize how desperate I am. lol
