Happy Birthday to my still favorite seiyuu, Hoshi Souichirou. I think the fact you're playing my new 2nd favorite character in Geass certainly makes me like you more. XD; Oh Gino!

Anyway, my back is doing better but it's still being problematic so today consisted of spending quite a bit of time at the doctor's. On the bright side I actually walked there! (ok so it is only a quarter of a mile) but still I walked there and it was not that painful! I am hopefully going to be starting physically therapy because the doctor thinks my back problems are related to my flexibility issues. Ever since I was little I've had no flexibility and it seems gaining more would help considerably. I feel like I'm a BJD who has been strung too tightly and is now kicky lol

Because of my health issues I fell behind for the fic I wanted to finish today for Hoshi's birthday since what better way to celebrate it than writing GinoSuzu smut XD;;

I've also been horrifying someone in an email debate with my dislike of pairings everyone is supposed to like and I think she is missing the fact I don't need my pairing to be canon or even "canon" for me to like it. A lot of the pairings I like happen to have a lot of hints/information in the series making them something one can get to without too much of a jump, but I don't actually need that. I like pairings consisting of characters I like together. While there is a reason in Geass to slash GinoSuzu and that's what started it, in the end it's my favorite pairing because Suzaku and Gino are my favorite characters and I think that's a concept not everyone gets. lol It's like PoT, I don't need a reason to slash to YuuYuu, it's just hot and fun. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that it is complete crack, in fact liking crack is sort of nice because then you can just enjoy a pairing.

And on a less friendly note, I'm planning to unfriend people soon. Between Japan and my back I feel like sometimes I don't have time to keep up with my current flist as well as I like. As sephyelysian pointed out, generally when one is planning to unfriend people one has a list in their head of who they are considering. At this time this list only really consists of a few people who seem to never comment here (and a few don't even respond when I commented in their LJ) and I just wonder why they friended me in the first place. We don't seem to have much in common and they don't seem interested in me and I really am not that interested in them. I refuse to be anyone's fangirl unless you're really super special awesome. So no, I don't expect everyone on my flist to respond "Please don't cut me" since it's not the majority of people on my flist. ^^; If you think you might really be one of the people I am considering, then please do respond and umm could you let me know why you did friend me since it makes no sense to me.

I'm glad your back is doing better and yeesh, I've learned to never, ever argue pairings. Mine tend to not go with the mainstream anyway and I kind of figure as long as I like what I'm doing, everyone else can move along. It's not like you're forced to read fics/posts what have you. u__u;;

I sometimes like mainstream, but I like what I like. I just don't get why this person can't accept that Geass really doesn't have canon pairings and it is just as open for what I want as what she wants. *sighs*

Well, I think you're right. I always am a little shocked when people who I am obviously not planning to cut post, something like "Please don't cut me!" because of course I am not cutting them. And I was not planning on cutting you either BTW, there are just a few people who friended me and I just don't really know why. ^^;

At one point, I had to state on my journal that I didn't appreciate the fact that I was expected to tolerate everyone else's pairing preferences and tried to do so with all good graces while other people shoved theirs in mine with all rudeness. (Which worked really well, actually.) Because it's a pairing, a preference, and it's supposed to be in fun. If you don't like it? Don't read it. No one is making you read that entry/story/look at that art. I'll admit my preference in CG is Suzaku/Lelouch (it's what I got started on) but I can see Suzaku/Gino and I'll read anything that's well-written. I don't CARE what anyone ships so long as they don't get in my face and tell me I don't have the right to ship what I want to. Simple as that.

I wasn't worried. I figured you would or wouldn't and as I said, if you chose to then my getting on here to flail at you about that? Wouldn't do much more than guilt you into keeping me on when you didn't feel it and that's just not kosher.

I don't mind if people share theirs what bugs me is when they insist theirs is canon and mine can never happen and fail to miss the point that I don't care. lol I like my pairing because I like my pairing. While I started in LuluSuzu I just completely fell for GinoSuzu, possibly because I love Hoshi and I think Gino is hot and he's really slashy with Suzaku. lol

It just bugs me that I can be told that say KeiKam is boring when I adore it, but I'm not allowed to think Subaru is boring and SeiSub is sucks.

But I just thought I would let you know you were not one of the people I was considering cutting anyway lol It's not that I want people to guilt me, it's just of a last chance to see if they are actually paying attention at all or really just don't care. I had a ton of people friend me a few months ago and most of them have just not posted anything that interests me and never respond to me which makes me wonder why they friended me in the first place.

Im also planning to cut someone who is really into J-pop and has not responded even when I comment in her LJ. I'm not into J-pop at all really, or just like in a listen to casual way, not a go to concert way.

No, that's annoying and it gets old. I particularly hate the glee with which people wave the canon flag as if that negates all else. Because insofar as I've ever seen? There are all sorts of alt ships out there for every actual canon pairing. I don't see why it needs to be taken so seriously or why anyone would want to deny you your fun. We all have our own reasons for liking a particular pairing. I see no reason to have to justify why that is to someone just because they can't tick to the idea that other people have different opinions.

As someone who was on the opposite end of the SubSei thing with the KamSub...uh. Yeah. XD;; I know where you're coming from.

I haven't gotten to them yet but I'm getting there. ^~ I'm trying to catch up on the backlog of Geass fics and I'm a bit of a snot when it comes to quality of writing so wading through can be fun. I fully expect given what I've seen of your past writing to enjoy it.

Yeah, I've got some people on here that I'm like...oO;; Hello? Um. Who are you? And why are you there? A lot of the new people on my LJ are doll people and that's fine. I get that but occasionally I get someone and I really wonder why. A few months ago, I stopped adding people for a bit because someone decided to plagerize and seemed to think I wouldn't mind because we were "friends". >>;; Because stealing from your "friends"? Is okay. Really. I called her on it, then cut her, and got a story about how it was her SISTER who stole her password and did it. It was really screwed up. The journal got deleted after awhile but it was very troll-like. So I've gotten a bit more discerning if I can about who I let on my LJ.

See, for me I need something canon for a pairing to work for me (just something small is enough as long as it's there) - but I think it's great that you (& many others) aren't so nitpicky and just have fun with whoever you want to pair. I can't understand people getting upset about it...even more, arguing or debating about it? Or thinking that you HAVE to like a pairing just because they're canon or "everyone else likes it". Hmmmph. It seems so completely beyond pointless.

(P.S. Oh. So is this the point where I start wringing my hands and begging you not to f-cut me? ;D)

Yes, and to be honest in Geass about the only pairings that are truly canon are Charles x Marianne, Ougi x Violetta, and maybe Lloyd/Milly since they are engaged. Lelouch' sexuality has been left rather open and he is very easily slashable with quite a bit of the cast. In Seed, I more than happily break up canon pairings as do the majority of Japanese fangirls, in fact I'm tempted to say in Destiny Sunrise decided to break up the canon couples they set up.

I like KeiKam and even more than KeiKam I adore SeiKam XD;;; I don't really feel like I should be forced to think SeiSub is the best or romantic or just lovely or what have you. For me it's really not.

I haven't read too much Geass fic other than jusrect
s. I adore her SchniSuzu and she also writes some cute GinoSuzu. I admit now, I'm more committed to Suzaku as the uke than who he is being paired with. If you should find some good Lulu topping Suzaku, I'd be interested! I also like Cornelia/Euphie and a few of the odder pairings When I write, I do sort of tend to think of things as its own little universe so everything semi connects up. (Except when I wrote the ending to jusrecht's, I'm not sure that connects up to my little universe at all. lol Please let me know if you do end up reading them. :D

I'm slower about friending people back now because I sort of want to make sure the people reading want to be here first. ^^; There are a few people I've friended who I do fangirl over, but one of them is an actual author. lol

a bunch of them are DoA mods who friended me after I made a post criticizing DoA and now never comment which just makes me a tad paranoid after some of the experiences I've had with LJ o_O;

Hmmmm well since this happened to be X under discussion.. I think there are plenty of hints if one wants to take it to slash say KeiKam in X itself. Or SoKa. Or heck for me, it's not even hard to see Seishirou wanting to have sex with Kamui. None of them are canon, but each has a hint.

In the case of Geass, considering all I did was crop the screen cap and add text, I think the series is definitely giving you something to work with to slash Gino and Suzaku. lol

Heck, if you're even creative enough, like me, I can stretch a reason for Yagyuu to even be dating Yuuta by saying they met in the video game when they were rehearsing Hamlet since Yagyuu played Polonious and Yuuta played Laertes. But the pairing is mostly RP based and in the RP before they started dating they were extremely slashy lol

I do like some completely crack i.e. crossover pairings but it more has to do with either humor or deciding various characters in other series for one wonky reason or another would be an awesome pairing.

Physically therapy should help a lot.

Usually as long as you don't insult my pairing I'm quite open lol I won't necessarily like it, want to read fic on it or anything (I'm quite parochial in that respect) But yeah, I think you could definitely say I have fallen for GinoSuzu hard, though I admit now some of it is also just my love of Gino.

I adore Euphie/Cornelia. <3 It's so sweet but wrong at the same time! At the moment, my geass pairings are prob: GinoSuzu, RoloLulu, Cornelia/Euphie, and I vacillate on CC/Kayuga, CC/Kayuga/Kallen, CC/Xingke Midorikawa's character Wow, it's het! XD;;; I'm also starting to fall for Anya/Cecile lol

Well I think Daisuke's feelings for Hinoto are pretty canon. ^_^;; I just think canon in and of itself is overrated. It can be a good starting point, but since for the most part as fangirls we're doing things outside the story... to paraphase Reconstructionist Judaism, Canon has a vote not a veto.

And yeah 1 person's canon is not there at all. Sometimes what people are seeing is really subtle and sometimes it's hit you over the head. I personally think you would need to be blind to miss GinoSuzu lol

Yeah, Sorata/Arashi is 100% canon, but that also doesn't negate the fact Sorata is so slashy with Kamui and if you want to see SoKa it doesn't take much. lol

But yeah, all my GinoSuzu lj icons are mostly just screencaps, so you tell me, do you think they're slashy? XD;

They have at times a very KeiKam vibe except Suzaku is more badass than Kamui and more competent not that this is saying much It would have helped the DoH immensely to have Suzaku instead of Kamui. And besides Suzaku has the greatest ass in all of anime

Glad the back is improving - walking to the doctor's is definitely a good sign! It's nice to know that there may be an actual cause for it - I didn't realise you had flexibility issues - but I would've thought all the time you've put in at the gym, and doing physical things like housework, would've helped with that, at least a little?

Sadly, not as much as one would think. ;;_;; I've just always had bad flexibility issues. I think at one point the gym was helping a tiny bit but not enough to make a difference.

Right now housework is right out which is both good and bad lol I also feel bad I can't help my Mom who has severe back problems, aka the type that need surgery. I think that is another reason why it just makes me so nervous.

The next week and a bit is super busy. There is a huge doll convention this week end in NYC and two of my dolls friends are coming to stay with me on Wed until ummm next Wed. So I'm sort of busy until then and now tomorrow I start my physical therapy. >>; So maybe sometime after that Wed assuming I feel well enough to get to downtown on my own power since I am not driving, parking is such a pain and so overpriced. ~.~

Yeah I think though I need more than yoga lol I'm very very inflexible and have been for years and I think the one on oneness of physical therapy will help immeasurably. Probably once my physical therapy is done, I will look into doing Yoga at the gym and not just doing the arc trainer. I am hopeful though.

I am doing better, just not where I want to be. I want to be able to do everything like I use to without any twinges of pain and that is my goal >>;

Let's see, I friended you after the anti-TezuFuji meeting at katsu a few years back, and I may have bought something from you at some point - memory is fuzzy there. Anyhow, thanks for your suggestion of road trip stop - we only were able to eat lunch, but it was still a glorious drive along I-70.
