I left on Friday to go to Japan but because of time changes I didn't arrive until late Saturday. I managed to get my upgrade to Business class to go through from the NY to SFO part of the trip and discovered the new personal DVD type players one gets. This gave me a chance to finally see the Transformer movie. There wasn't nearly enough time spent on the Transformers in it. I also saw Mister Magoriums Magical Emporium, a very sad at times film, where I think Mister Magorium spent too much time with Clow Reed at times. Both flights were completely packed which was not bad in business class but sucked in Economy Plus to Tokyo. Ah well.

For dinner on Saturday I met Eleniel on DoA. She was very nice but we couldn't find the restaurant I wanted to go to Nakano. I was also suffering from some pretty bad jetlag. In fact the jetlag was so bad I'm not even sure where we did end up eating! ^_^;

Sunday was the Zenkoku for Geass, the actual reason I was going to Japan at this time lol I got there a bit later than I would have liked so there were about 200 people in front of me and sadly comic cities don't ever have cosplayers. However nearly every single circle was doing sketches and I got a sketch from my all time favorite circle Kashi. I've loved their art work since I discovered them in 2002 doing AsuKira books for Gundam Seed. They're a very prolific circle and professional. They even have a story in the J-boys book put out by Biblos. While I can't read Japanese I can tell you their stories veer from wrongness to completely cracked out. I also got a sketch from Zaco and finally a sketch from a smaller circle that did amazingly pretty SuzuEuphie. I'm actually much more into LuluEuphie than SuzuEuphie and I like Euphie/Cornellia the best, but the art was just so damn pretty! I got a ton of very fun books, found some new circles and found some old favorites. I'm really hoping that SCC has some good Geass as well! Post the event, I went to Ikebukuro to do some fast shopping before going to meet [livejournal.com profile] dilettantka for dinner. I admit now, I was not just excited to be meeting Eda for dinner but also the fact Eda wanted to go with me to one of the vegan places I wanted to try to Tokyo! Eda looked so pretty with her hair grown out, it's odd everyone says as you get older you ought to trim your hair shorter but wow, long hair so worked for Eda! The place we ended up picking was fabulous! The little vegan cookie part of the dessert was just fabulous.

Monday, I was planning to leave in the early afternoon for Kansai, but did some fast shopping in Tokyo before meeting [livejournal.com profile] bittenbefore for lunch! Sadly, I could not find the Bellini's branch in Shinjuku so we ended up at Capricossa. Judy looked so pretty, not that she doesn't usually, but her hair color/style was just so flattering! On my shinkansen, I was happily surprised to find out I had Fuji-san side and the weather was quite clear so by Shin Yokohama, I could actually see Fuji-san! All my transfers went well and I didn't have a hard time making it to Kate's where I ate a yummy dinner with her and Corrine.

Suzaku a F-11 (I could not stop snickering) and Lelouch a I forgot which mold lol Judging from comments he is a F-19!

BF Jerome and BF May, though I thought the May worked better as Shirley at the Oct event ^_^;

People don't just make hentai figures for fun lol

Hehehe glad you enjoyed! I'm actually making chibi sized Geass dolls out of a bunch of Yos. So far I have Lelouch and Suzaku (though Lulu needs his hair trimmed!) and I commissioned a friend to make the Ashford unis. I am thinking now of adding Gino and Schniezel, but of course I'm a huge uke Suzaku fan and besides its hilarious to make Lulu get all pissy cause everyone is hitting on his boyfriend

No, you're right he is a F-19, I remember them saying that now. :D

They did tell me which head molds they were, the F-11 just stuck in my mind cause of the added hilarity. And I remember the BF dolls from the October event cause I bought one of the unis lol

Yeah I got them all from my seat this time! It was amazing I saw Fuji-san from Yokohama and nearly 3/4 of the way to Nagoya!

Suzaku is definitely a F-11 whichever mold that is cause I remember the circle telling me that and dying. I do think Lulu is a F-19, yours and the above person mentioning it reminded me the circle said that at the time when I asked.

I love when doll owners are also fangirls like that. XD;

I have the points to turn in to go but I don't think it is going to happen, March is always tricky because of Jewish holidays and it worked out to be something of a mess the last time I went. ~.~

I wish I could go though, it would have been awesome!

Personally, I think that mold worked better for Shirley, but the wig is awesome and I think a different mold would make a terrific CC. I personally think a Xiao or a girl!Louis would be better or maybe even an Olive.

This is the website of the company who made the dolls, Blue Fairy (http://bluefairyint.com/) :D

Grrrr this makes me wish I knew more Japanese lol Since I could have sworn they said F-11, was Shou the old F-11?

Yes, I thought the Suzaku was adorable and I love how they have him in a white ALG type shirt. lol

I was very lucky and the weather was very very clear and I was on the Fuji-san side. Overall this trip was just a great confluence of good luck which was so nice after the last trip.

Yes, I think they should have considered just getting the head and swapping. A boy Xiao would work for Suzaku in R2 with his constant pissy expression lol And Emilie or a girl!Niky is the ideal Milly XD;

Of course I am doing Yo chibis of some of the characters myself lol

heheheh

I figured it was appropriate to share some Fuji pictures today XD;;

I'm such a doll addict. BTW I missed it before but what bothered you about the ending of Voyager, for me it was the WTF Chakotay/7 of 9 that came out of nowhere.

XD Just a bit~ It works so well.

But dolls are just so awesome~ :D

YES. OMG it was the WTF Chakotay and Seven of Nine WHUT? Where did that come from? It's one thing for her to suddenly start fantasizing about him a couple episodes before that (and that was out of nowhere too), but for them to suddenly be going out? WTF. XD;

Now you can see why I was ranting about Chakotay/Janeway and Doctor/7 of 9. lol At least if the series was going to go that way you could see it, but this was all WTF?!?!?! My brother and I were so mad lol

I don't remember Chakotay seeming interested in her like at all and the actors have zilch chemistry. I think it was cause the fanboys liked 7 of 9 cause she was borg and wore tight clothes ~.~

Yes~ I am pro-those pairings, if it had to be anything! I can bet you guys were miffed!

Seriously, it was weird. D: If they'd been cultivating it for a while, maybe. But it was just so sudden.... Haha, though I suppose poor Jeri Ryan, she did have that problem with fanboys. XD

No that's whatI thought first too but then I remembered F11 was one of the oogly early optional heads. Shou was the F27, so maybe she made a mistake?

I'm glad this trip ended up being so much better than your last.. >_> I was worried at the beginning.

And okies I will share in a locked post in a while, and will send a hard copy but not Hard-On XD;

Ewww allergies. I so hate jet lag, I don't mind it in Japan cause it helps with the getting up by 7:00 am thing, but here in the US it means wanting to sleep during the day. ;;_;; I am hoping by Monday I am doing better, maybe.

And I will email you, I just royally suck sometimes ;;_;;

I would have preferred no pairings to the WTF pairing. I didn't mind 7 of 9, but with Chakotay.. it was just.. why writers, why? Hell, I could have seen Janeway/7 of 9 easier and the fanboys might have loved that XD;
