So a little late but things I am thankful for:

My husband
My cats
My Family
my friends
Being able to travel
the Internet
Insulation
Food
Being able to experience my 5 sense
My relative good health

After using less pie crust and cutting the filling recipe in half, my second pecan pie turned out beautifully. In fact it was so good my brother ate two pieces. He also couldn't stop complimenting my carrot cake muffins and he thinks I should start a business selling at Farmer's Markets.

Today, we went to see Enchanted. I can't believe I think I saw it before [livejournal.com profile] twotone lol (BTW hope you are feeling better)

Non-spoiler review: No reason to stay for the full credits. It's mostly cute and sweet, fun for adults and I think they used actual cel animation for parts. I was amused that the actor who played Peter Pettigrew has some rodent issues.

The best part might be when the pigeon eats the roach. No seriously.

Being a bit of a Broadway fan, I was horrible amused that Stephen Schwartz did the lyrics, you see a sign for Wicked in the background and Idina Menzel gets to marry a prince and be queen. (though sadly doesn't sing) She also has one of the best bits involving a Blackberry.

Both the husband and I adored the way the action switched from the animated world to the "real" world via a pop-up picture book at the end.

Giselle's future career actually makes sense O_O

I loved two of the songs and the calling the city life of NY was just lovely

I personally was amused by how many bit parts are taken up by people who have been Disney Princesses in past movies. Without even looking hard I saw Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara and Judy Kuhn in the credits.

Negatives:

The witch promising Giselle she would forget everything to seduce her was such an incredibly false and jarring note. Giselle promised Morgan not to forget her and here she is ready to take a bite from the apple?!? The witch should have been offering something else. Both the husband and I were thinking at that point she was going to turn the witch down.

All in all I adored the prince. ^_^;; He's such an incredibly sweet dork, and wow is he a dork. He's painfully naive but tries so hard. I'm glad he got a happy ending.
