Part I- Favorite
Favorite musical? Les Miserables, by a lot.
Seen it how many times? 4, I regret not trying to see it in Japan.
Favorite song? On My Own
Least favourite song? Dog Eat Dog
Favorite character? Eponine and then Enjolras
Favorite performer to play that role? I still like Frances Ruffelle the best. >>;
Least favorite character? I don't really have one.
Part II- 2nd Favorite
Second favorite musical? This is much much tougher, it's between: Into the Woods, Chess, and Avenue Q.
Seen it how many times? Into I've seen 4x and watched my DVD a few times, Chess just 1 and Avenue Q 2x.
Favorite song? Into the Woods - I Know Things Now, Chess - Someone Else's Story, and Avenue Q - Fine Fine Line
Least favorite song? Into the Woods - Anything by the British Cast, OMG it HURTS!, Chess - the Lullaby , Avenue Q - Special
Favorite character Into the Woods - Little Red Ridinghood, Chess - The Russian, Avenue Q - Rod.
Favorite performer to play that role? I love all the Rods I have heard, Danielle Ferland, and Tommy Korgberg
Least favorite character? Into the Woods - Jack's Mom, Chess - None ^^;, Avenue Q - None ^^;
Part III- CDs & DVDs
Do you own many cast recordings? Some, not as many as others.
Which is your favourite? Unsure either the concept album of Chess or the concept album of Evita. Though I love the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast of Les Miz too.
Why? I love the emotion in the concept albums. Also, I like the casting on all the parts and the timing. David Carroll was a good singer, but I hated his pacing on Where I Want to Be. Other than Lea Salonga when I think it should have gone to Frances, I love the Dream cast so much, I just regret them cutting all the little extra bits form the Complete Symphonic and Colm was overacting a bit.
Can you sing the whole CD word for word? Yes, to Les Miz, most of for Chess, and no for Evita.
What musical DVDs do you have? I think just Into the Woods. I bought the Dream cast of Les Miz on VHS and I mostly enjoy my musicals in person when I can.
Favorite DVD? See above.
Part IV- Performers
Favorite theatre performer? Female: Bernadette Peters and Male: Michael Ball
Have you seen him/her perform live? If so, in what? Yes, Peters in Into the Woods 2x and Goodbye Girl, Ball in Aspects of Love.
Least favorite performer? The rude guy who played Rusty when I saw Starlight Express ~.~
Funniest performer? Howie Michael Smith, Gregg Edelman, and Robert Westernberg.
Best voice? Michael Maguire <333333 OK well Michael Ball too and Tommy Korgberg and Elaine Paige, and even Judy Kuhn is much better post Les Miz.
I had planned to post a long post on Freedom of Speech, Thoreau and irony, but I've gotten tired and I can't find the bad essay I wrote my Junior year of High School. I'm still thinking on the whole F-lock issue. I might just start using it on certain posts. I've also now set up an account on Journal Fen, Insane Journal and Greatest Journal. Wheeeee!
