I am so dying, it's so perfect!
For everyone who is easily amused here is the series
I can't decide if my favorite it the one where Uncle Ben takes on Superman's father, or the one where Superman has the son.

Date: 2007-06-01 11:44 am (UTC)The grandpa/Uncle Ben doll is from the Happy Family line that came out in the last few years-- the "controversial" one where it was Midge, Alan, their baby/babies, and Grandpa and Grandma. Despite the prominent wedding ring on Midge's finger, some parent groups were concerned that she promoted teen pregnancy (?!) and so the Happy Family Midge dolls sold at Wal-Mart (and Wal-Mart only!) did NOT have the prominent-yet-removable pregnant tummy. I think they might have even had a cardboard cut-out of Alan in the box to stress that OMG SHE TOTALLY HAS A HUSBAND FOR REALZ. The normal version of Midge (sold at non-WalMart stores) had the pregnant tummy. :p

You so know it's because of Uncle Ben. XD;;;
I read that the guy who makes those videos is dating a Barbie collector, and thus where the Barbie sets and dolls came from.
