The birdhouse in our not quite soul

Today while I was lying on the blow up mattress we're using as a bed since our bed is in CT while we are in NY until tomorrow early afternoon my hubby decided to try to listen for Ryuu-chan's heart beat. He spent a lot of time with his head pressed against my belly, but only could hear my heart beat. lol He had lifted his head when suddenly I felt an odd flutter in my belly like nothing I've ever felt before... and I think it was the baby! O____O I'm nearly done with week 16 (Tuesday starts week 17) so technically at this point you can feel your baby move if you know what to look for and I think I did! It was so exciting and just makes me feel more pregnant, well in addition to my semi protruding belly, the nausea and the puking lol

It's been weird staying in our very empty house. There is an echo and the house is very empty. I have discovered Coleman blow up mattress are way more comfortable than I ever expected, though they have a weird plasticy smell. >>;

So at this point in time, I'm really hoping (and planning) to go to Japan in late June post NY Dolpa. If you're someone I actually know, I might be able to order you a special FCS from the Ginza store before it closes. I'm determined to work on my trip this week since late June and July are much more popular tourist times than when I usually go to Japan. I'm hoping to see everyone and I'm hoping to get some sightseeing in. Places I'd love to go to hike the remaining 2 Dewa Sanzan, but not sure one can do it pregnant. I know that Gas-san isn't so steep, it's just long. The biggest issue would be keeping up my energy levels by eating enough. Yamagata-ken >< good place to be a vegetarian. ;;_;;

Hey, do you want me to go ahead and ship that BPAL Bob picked up for you to the new address?

Sure just please send it with insurance and DC since I don't know what mail is like to the new place yet and I'm a little anxious. I'll happily cover both costs. :)

Thank you so much for waiting and let me know what I owe you, I can't remember what I've paid for or not paid for at this point. ^^;;;;;

You've already paid, so no worries. I'll get the stuff wrapped up and we should be able to get it out Monday.

It's the only Sumika in Tokyo I'm missing I think. I know I've been to Alta, Aki, and Harajuku and the old Kichijoji branch before it closed. But yes Ginza is closing in July and as a good bye they're offering a chance to order a bunch of discontinued heads, like MSD F-03, F-11 and F-12 and SD F-02 and several others. I think it's sort of nice they're bringing them back.

I think the only toy store in Ginza that does well is Hakuhinkan and they have a theatre as well as a draw.

Yes, I think those molds are quite cute, I'm glad they're being brought back even for a short time.

I dunno know, I know the Toy Park was there before Volks came in. The biggest change I noticed was the new H&M which is insanely popular. I was planning to just stop being lazy and write down the address so I can use my bilingual guide to find it :D

Harajuku is a really really nice branch. It's sort of like in Sato in that it's just BJDs. Across a patio is a another small shop which is just 1/6.

Yes, I'm rather adept with the Tokyo rail system and I'm decent at getting around Kansai now. Overall though I have a very good sense of direction which really helps.

Ohhhh, I bet that WAS the baby moving! Isn't that the best feeling? I'm so so happy for you!

YES!

Though now I'm sad since I've not felt it today and it makes me anxious. Of course the baby could just be what I am mistaking for gas or maybe it is sleeping or I am just missing it. I have my next appointment on Friday and hopefully all is well, I'm so excited! :D
