Pictures of the Day: June 23 to 30th
Aw crap, I'm missing a whole lot of photos. At least part of this is because I was poorly, and part of it is because I got work materials so I was working.
June 23rd: Not a great day for me! I did the usual household chores, and while in the laundry room espied the biggest cockroach I've seen in this house. Later, because I was still feeling poorly, I opted to do a DVD workout rather than an elliptical workout... and after my shower, Licorice jumped on my back and slid down with her claws out, doing enough damage that I had to call Daniel in to tend to my scratches.

Later still, I found out that wasn't even the worst of it... unbeknownst to me, my uncle (my mom's older brother, and the only person from the Japan side of my family who came to our wedding) was hospitalized after being found unresponsive on the floor of his house.
June 24: No picture! This is the day that I got work materials AND found out the news about my uncle from my mom. At this point, all I was told was "your cousin says that your uncle has been hospitalized since the 23rd with high fever and pneumonia".
June 25: No picture! Daniel had a CT scan for his continued maybe-sinus-infection, I had the second morning in a row of waking up with a rattling wheeze and reluctantly concluded that maybe what I had *wasn't* sore throat due to allergic rhinitis and accompanying post-nasal drip. My combination COVID/Flu A and B test gave me a negative result.
June 26: I actually have a photo for this day, but only because it was 626 Day (Stitch from Lilo and Stitch is Experiment 626).
June 27: Another day with no photo. I believe this is the day that I found out that my uncle had regained consciousness and was able to blink, raise his hand, and nod.
June 28: Pokemon Go Fest. I was still feeling poorly (and definitely didn't want to walk around Disney Springs in 90 degree weather) so we drove around nearby spots with Pokemon Gyms and caught what we could.
June 29: Daniel had a Cast Member preview of the new Test Track attraction at EPCOT. He had several companion tickets available, and since I wasn't feeling well, I ceded my ticket to a local friend in the Starcruiser fan community.
I stayed at home and drank tea and dozed on the couch, interrupted by terrifying clatter at the sliding glass door that turned out to be a sandhill crane going after a lizard on our screen door.
Daniel went to lunch at Coral Reef restaurant with our friends before heading to Test Track, where they waited in the rain for some time before being told that the ride was down and unlikely to come back up. (A co-worker of Daniel's apparently waited five hours and was eventually able to ride.)
June 30: I found out exactly how my sweaters keep ending up on the closet floor.
